As I shared before my fiance is from Hong Kong, sometimes he does have a Cantonese food craving. Last time he had a craving we ended up in Healthy Cafe, which was quite disappointing. This time we picked a place suggested by one of my guests – Honolulu Cafe in Sanlitun after visiting tailor shop.
The restaurant seemed very happening and we were glad we came here. The food was really nice – filling and delicious – spring rolls, wonton noodle soup, congee, crispy pork and mango sago with pomelo.
It seems like we ordered so much, but we always have our food preferences differences, so we have to order some of the things not sharing…. I personally cannot take the texture of congee, while for him my favourite noodle soup seems to be a torture to eat.
Spring rolls and crispy pork, on the other hand, are always amazing to share. And finally, to make sure that you can’t really move to go home, you need certainly need to have a mango sago for dessert.
For everyone who thinks that was not enough there is also a great selection of pastries – pineapple buns, egg tarts, chocolate tarts and other ones.
